At least 29 people, most of them children, died in the sinking of an overloaded boat last night in northern Nigeria, while thirteen others are missing.
"We found 29 bodies between last night and this morning and we rescued 7 people. The search for the remaining 13 bodies is ongoing. Most of the victims are children between the ages of 8 and 15," he told the Afp the spokesman for the fire brigade of the state of Kano, Saminu Abdullahi.
