It was the interview in which Eric Zemmour wanted to forget the polemicist to endorse the stature of a presidential candidate, a few hours after having (finally) formalized his candidacy.
Éric Zemmour's appearance on Tuesday evening on TF1 was widely followed by viewers since they were more than 6.50 million viewers in front of Gilles Bouleau's 8 pm, i.e. a market share of 27.9% according to the site of mediametry.
A very high figure which places it at more than 1.7 million of the France 2 newscast.

As for the rest of the prime time programs, TF1 has consolidated its leadership position thanks to the thirteenth episode of "Koh-Lanta: the legend".
Still presented by Denis Brogniart, the show was followed by 3.88 million fans, or 20.9% of the public.
Downside: the score is down compared to last week when they were 4.05 million sofa adventurers in front of their small screen.
In second position comes the premium of “Plus Belle La Vie” on France 3. This “Black-out”, produced by Marion Lallier and with Stéphane Hénon, Anne Décis and Marie Hennerez, was followed by 2.29 million people, or 10.6% of the public and 10.4% of housewives under the age of 50, again according to the Médiamétrie site. That's less than the last premium in the series on December 15, 2020, which was watched by 3.01 million people, or 12.7% of the audience. A very small figure compared to the old performances of the French series.
Finally, France 2 comes in third position with its political show.
A new issue of "Élysée 2022: The decisive debate" presented for the first time by the new duo Léa Salamé was watched by 1.73 million people, or 8.9% of the public and 3.6% of housewives less 50 years old.
It's much better than the September 23 issue and its (small) 1.05 million viewers.
