(ANSA) - ROME, 02 DEC - "The Christmas of the Conservatives": this is how the 23rd edition of Atreju will be called, the historic happening organized annually by the Brothers of Italy at the end of the summer and this year postponed to December also due to electoral appointments. the second year they prevented the event from taking place in September.
"Atreju is one of the few things that have remained unchanged in the evicessitudes of the Italian right: it is an event of part but not of a party. It is certainly an event organized by a political culture but also a place for discussion", remembers the leader of Fdi, Giorgia Meloni, presenting the program. edition 2021 which will be "an experiment" in its Christmas version. Decided, Meloni points out, "well before the European frenzy on Christmas. All the more reason, however, the decision to center Atreju on Christmas and his works, was a good choice. But with Natale dei Conservatori we also mean another birth: the path of building a strong alternative network and the dominant single thought, enclosed in the conservative dimension and which brings together different souls ".
For this reason, Atreju will host representatives of the ECR, Tory and the American Republican Rudolf Giuliani for the closing debate of the event.
The event that is proposed as a meeting place, just like a Christmas market, will extend over a week, from 6 to 12 December, in Rome at piazza Risorgimento, the Christmas shopping release square: many topics and themes that will be addressed by experts and well-known faces during the week, among others the ministers Giorgetti, Di Maio and Cartabia and the party leadersLetta, Salvini and Conte.
