The facade of a residential building collapsed in Hamburg.
The accident occurred in the Ottensen district after an explosion or deflagration, the police said.
The photos show that the street in front of the building is littered with stones and that cars have been damaged.
There should be at least one injured person, said a police spokeswoman in Hamburg.
She has not yet had any further knowledge.
According to the "Hamburger Morgenpost", the injured suffered severe burns and was taken to a clinic by rescue helicopter.
More than 60 rescuers were therefore in action.
Rescue and emergency services are already on site.
Because of the emergency, according to the information, there will be road closures in the area south of the Altona train station.
