Hollywood star Sandra Bullock is happy about her relatively late motherhood

Sandra Bullock says she is happy to have become a mother relatively late.
"I'm so glad that the universe made me wait," said the actress on the Facebook talk show "Red Table Talk".
In 2010, at the age of 45, Bullock adopted Louis, then three months old, and in 2015 she became the adoptive mother of Laila, who was then two years old.
Bullock said she herself was worried and impatient beforehand.
"It's hard when society is on your neck".
She also talked about the lengthy and "incredibly difficult" process she had to go through before the adoptions.
In Bullock's view, how a family comes about is irrelevant.
The Hollywood star had already said this in an emotional speech at the MTV Movie Awards two years ago.
"Sometimes you are born into a family, sometimes you have to find it first and sometimes it will find you." But no matter what happens, family is what you fight for and what you protect.
A break-in changed her life
The 57-year-old also spoke about a decisive experience in the “Red Table Talk”.
In 2014, she was all alone in her home in Bel Air, California, when a stalker broke into her home.
"I hid in the closet and just thought, 'It won't end well."
After the break-in, she was no longer the same.
"I was completely confused," said the actress.
Then she went into therapy.
Bullock is one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood.
For her performance in "Blind Side" she was awarded both the Oscar and the Golden Globe in 2010 for best leading actress.
For "Gravity" she was nominated again for an Oscar.
She achieved fame in the 1990s, among other things through roles in "Speed" and "While you were asleep".
