When she wanted to light a cigarette, she caused an explosion, the police said.
The woman suffered severe burns and was flown to a special clinic in a rescue helicopter.
According to initial findings, her life was not in danger.
A toddler present in the apartment was unharmed.
The police started an investigation into the initial suspicion of causing an explosive device.
The property damage was provisionally estimated at around 40,000 euros.
Children and adolescents in particular abuse so-called sniff substances, which are contained in glue and sprays, among other things, as drugs.
