Boeing: China, 737 Max possible return by the end of the year

The Boeing 737 Max could return to the skies of China as early as the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022, along with the resumption of the introduction of new aircraft. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - BEIJING, 03 DEC - The Boeing 737 Max could return to the skies of China as early as the end of 2021 or the beginning of 2022, together with the resumption of the introduction of new aircraft.

This was announced today by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the civil transport authority, providing more details on the "airworthiness" directive of the Max issued yesterday.


    CAAC, the first global regulator to ground the Max in March 2019 after two fatal accidents costing 346 people, has provided airlines with a list of corrections needed to make before the Max returns to service.
