At work without being vaccinated or already suspended because they had not complied with the vaccination obligation: 281 doctors have been discovered by the Nas carabinieri as part of a series of checks throughout Italy with the aim of identifying health personnel who continue to violate the law.
The checks involved over 1,600 public and private structures and about 4,900 positions of doctors, dentists, pharmacists, veterinarians, nurses and physiotherapists.
Of the 281 doctors discovered, 126 had already been suspended from professional associations precisely because they were not vaccinated.
Against the health personnel found on duty despite having already been suspended, a complaint was made for abusive exercise of the health profession.
Eight are instead the family doctors and pediatricians identified in Abruzzo, Sardinia, Campania and Lazio who had not immunized.
The Nas blitz did not concern only health personnel: the checks have in fact triggered investigations also against various local health authorities - in Calabria, Sicily, Molise and the province of Bolzano - for not having taken administrative and disciplinary measures against the personnel who he had not been vaccinated.
