Sarah Engels on the birth of her daughter: "Full of happiness and pride"

Sarah Engels became the mother of a daughter.

"On December 2nd, 21st we were finally able to hold you in our arms and from now on we will never let go of you," wrote the 29-year-old on Instagram about a photo on which a small baby hand can be seen.

"Papa, Mama and your big brother love you infinitely and are full of happiness and pride." The name could also be read on a ribbon: Solea Liana.

For Engels it is the second child.

"We are currently enjoying our cuddling and getting to know each other to the fullest," she reported in a video.

The birth was "very exhausting, but very, very beautiful."

The singer had revealed in June that she was expecting offspring with her husband Julian.

From 2013 to 2019 she was married to singer Pietro Lombardi, 29, the father of their first son Alessio.

The couple met at the casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".

Since then, Engels has made a career: she is an influencer, musician and has participated in various television shows ("Let's Dance", "The Masked Singer").

Your daughter is now expecting a nest that has been made.

Engels had said a few weeks before the birth that the nursery was already completely furnished.

She also said that it was nice that Alessio now has a little sister - "and I, as a woman at home, have female support".
