A flight attendant, who went through quite a few hotel rooms during his work, gave tips to help you know how clean and tidy the room really is, claiming that if the bedding was wrinkled and not straight - a sign that they had not been replaced recently and had not been cleaned in a long time.
"Do not change on bed linen if they are wrinkled and not folded," he told INSIDER, "probably someone slept on them in front of you."

The Daily Star reported that a guy named Dan, who works at a motel near Yosemite Park, also revealed that he also did this in the past when cleaning rooms.
He explained that if the bedding of the bed was not completely messy, he would just pull them to look straight and leave them that way, without changing them.
He said: "This job is breaking my back. I'm just pulling the sheets and hoping no one notices. So far it's worked for me."
So the next time you walk into a hotel room, first check the bedding.
And that they will not work on you.
