The coffee at the counter in South Tyrol from Monday 6 December will be reserved for vaccinated and recovered from Covid. This is foreseen by the new ordinance, number 37, signed by the South Tyrolean governor Arno Kompatscher. The new ordinance transposes the so-called Super Green Pass which gives access to closed places such as bars and restaurants only to those who have been vaccinated or cured. Compared to the national territory in South Tyrol, however, there will be stricter rules from Monday. While at national level it will be mandatory to have the Super Green Pass to sit at the bar or in a restaurant, in South Tyrol this rule is also extended for those who want to drink a coffee at the counter.

Furthermore, the rule of respecting the distance of one meter between the guests seated at the tables was reiterated. Furthermore, to go by train or bus to South Tyrol, the FFP2 mask will be mandatory, while in the rest of the Italian territory it will be enough to have a surgical mask. As regards the lifts in the ski areas, given that the lifts for the most part border on other regions, the rule valid for the national territory has been maintained. Therefore, those who go skiing can bring with them even just a surgical mask.

Shows in theaters, concert halls, cinemas and other places accessible to the public, including outdoors, are only accessible to the public after presenting the Super Green Pass. For activities that take place in dance halls, discos and similar venues, participants must be in possession of the Super green certificate, issued only for vaccinated or recovered patients. In addition, in South Tyrol the new ordinance provides for mandatory outdoor masks in case of gatherings and in any case in all indoor rooms.

"All people over the age of 6 are obliged to have respiratory protective devices with them at all times and to wear them in all closed places (with the exception of their own home) and in all outdoor places, such as except for cases in which, due to the characteristics of the places or the factual circumstances, the condition of isolation from non-cohabiting people is continuously guaranteed. The safety protocols provided for the school and for economic, productive and administrative activities and social regulations, as well as the guidelines for the consumption of food and drinks, remain in force ", clarifies the Province of Bolzano in a note.
