In Eschweiler in North Rhine-Westphalia, a 43-year-old was killed in an accident on a former industrial site.
The Aachen police announced.
According to initial investigations, the man died after falling through a collapsed hall roof.
Accordingly, the 43-year-old was found lifeless on the industrial site on Sunday afternoon.
Corpse is to be autopsied
The area is known as a so-called lost place among photographers, according to the police.
Many of the unused buildings are in danger of collapsing.
The criminal police began investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
The Aachen public prosecutor applied for an autopsy on the body.
