(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 06 - In the period January-October 2021 the tax revenues ascertained on the basis of the criterion of legal competence amounted to 377,814 million euros, marking an increase of 40,446 million euros compared to the same period of the year 2020 (+12 , 0%). The Mef communicates it.
The comparison between the first ten months of 2021 and those of the corresponding period of the previous year still shows an evident character of inhomogeneity due to the lockdown and the consequent economic measures and the suspension of deviations aimed at addressing the health emergency.
Again in 10 months, indirect taxes amounted to 169,737 million euros, an increase of 26,724 million euros (+ 18.7%).
The result was mainly due to VAT (+ € 20,064 million, + 22.3%) and, in particular, VAT on internal trade (+ € 16,223 million, + 19.9%).
The component relating to imports also recorded an increase in revenues of € 3,841 million (+ 45.7%).
