(ANSA) - TOKYO, 06 DEC - Third case of the Omicrondel Covid variant in Japan: it is a Japanese citizen from Italy.
The Japanese media anticipate this, telling how the person, who frequently travels to Italy, landed on Monday at Tokyo's Haneda airport and tested positive with the new strain of the virus.
Previous cases in the Land of the Rising Sun involve a diplomat from Namibia, and a man of about 20 who arrived from Peru last week.
