The Swiss track reserves good memories for the Italian team, capable of winning the victory on four occasions: Isolde Kostner triumphed in 1999 downhill, Karen Puzter won in 1999 and 2002 in supergiant, while the last success dates back to 2019 when in supergiant Italy signed a brace with Sofia Goggia in front of Federica Brignone for only one cent.
Just Brignone was among the protagonists of the Canadian triptych, with a crescendo of performances that saw her go from 13th to 10th place in descent, up to fifth place in the supergiant.
