(ANSA) - MADRID, 06 DEC - "The task of current generations is to protect our Constitution, which in my opinion means respecting all its articles, from the first to the last": this is the message expressed by the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez , on the national holiday dedicated to the current Constitution of the Iberian country, which came into force in 1978.
The prime minister spoke briefly to the media on the occasion of an institutional act held outside the Spanish Chamber of Deputies in Madrid.
"The Constitution has brought us rights and freedoms instead of dictatorship, harmony instead of hatred and tyranny, and membership of the European Union instead of isolation," Sanchez recalled.
