There are 119,539 people checked

by the police yesterday, the day of the debut of the 'super green pass', relating to possession of the certification:

937 were sanctioned

.

Another 2,077 were sanctioned because they did not have a mask.

These are the data from the Interior Ministry.

The checks have almost doubled compared to last Friday, when they were 66,925.

"Humanity yes, but no soft line"

. This is the line claimed on the new rules relating to the green pass by the Minister of the Interior Luciana Lamorgese at the presentation of the calendar of the National Association of Police Officers. "The checks we are carrying out on the green pass are rigorous. I have read in some media about a soft line of the Interior Ministry. It is not true. Our line is one of rigor: public health must be guaranteed, the right to live with serenity when you leave" , explains the minister.

TRANSPORT WITH SKIPASS -

Meanwhile, the ministry of transport is working on control mechanisms for buses, trams and metro to ensure that in the future only those with a green pass can buy a ticket for public transport, as is the case with ski passes. We are studying mechanisms, I believe the conditions are in place "and" we are quite optimistic that in the coming weeks the experiments can begin ", affirms Minister Enrico Giovannini.

"I'll take the example of the Dolomiti Superski, which is a ski pass in which the user loads his own green pass every day and the ski pass automatically authorizes only those who have the green pass". This was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure Enrico Giovannini. "We are studying the mechanisms" and "we are quite optimistic that trials can begin in the coming weeks," he adds.

NO EXCEPTIONS FOR STUDENTS -

"We have no intention of exceptions to the 'simple' green certification requirement for students on public transport". This was stated by the undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior Carlo Sibilia, guest of "The Breakfast club" on Radio Capital. "Indeed, we must continue along this line. The instrument is working, there has been a great response from the citizens and few fines, so it must be maintained. Out of 70 thousand people checked, there were only 130 fines and very few complaints. applause to Italian citizens for their compliance with the rules on the first day of the super green pass ".

THE PRIVACY NODE -

The president of the Guarantor for the protection of personal data Pasquale Stanzione in hearing the first commission in the Senate raises doubts about the news.

The "right of workers in the public and private sectors to deliver a copy of the green certification to the employer allows the latter to also deduce the prerequisite for issuing the same", points out Stanzione, asking the parliamentarians to make a further reflection on this rule, evaluating "the advisability of its repeal".
