(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 07 DEC - The American president JoeBiden "made no concessions" to the Russian VladimirPutin on the procedures with which NATO decides the membership of its members, during the conference call between the two leaders, dedicated above all to tension over Ukraine: said the US national security adviser, Jake Sullivan.

Comenoto, Putin asked for legal guarantees against NATO expansion to the east.

Sullivan also said that Biden has been "straightforward" with Putin and that he has already reported the outcome of the summit to the leaders of France, Germany, Italy and Great Britain, while on Thursday he will speak with Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky.
