MODENA - From appetizers to desserts: promising young chefs will try to amaze the chef Massimo Bottura with small masterpieces based on Zampone and Cotechino Modena Igp, the two Modenese excellences protagonists of the Christmas tables of all Italians.
The Zampone and Cotechino Modena IGP Consortium - Saturday 11 December in Modena - has launched a special edition of the competition dedicated to the chefs of tomorrow, involving only the Italian hotel institutes that have won past editions.
The show cooking will be accompanied by the live preparation of zamponi and cotechini, sausages and tied by hand by expert butchers.
Young chefs will have the opportunity to express their passion and creativity in front of a jury made up of experts, representatives of the institutions and chaired, once again this year, by chef Massimo Bottura, who with the Osteria Francescana restaurant has obtained three Michelin stars and was ranked first restaurant in the world in the list of 'The World's best 50 Restaurants Awards' in 2016 and 2018, the first Italian restaurant to win the title.
In compliance with the containment measures of the pandemic, it will be possible to access the tensile structure in Piazza Roma from 10.30, subject to availability and after checking the Green pass and measuring the temperature.
