The Munich II district court sentenced a 67-year-old man who had removed the testicles of several men to eight years and six months in prison.
It found the man guilty of several assault crimes.
Originally, he was also charged with omission of murder because a man had died after the amateur operation.
The court dropped this charge.
In the case of the deceased, it was not even possible to determine the exact time of death, said the judge.
In this respect, this case could not be sufficiently proven to be murder.

The electrician had admitted that he had offered "castrations" to the sadomasochistic scene in Internet forums.
Several men therefore paid him money for torture and removal of the testicles, for example.
One of them had such a deterioration in health after the procedure in March 2020 that, according to the prosecutor, he died a few days later in the care of the accused without the latter having sought help.
The 67-year-old is said to have packed the body in a cardboard box.
She was found about three weeks later during a search.
The public prosecutor's office had been imprisoned for eleven years for serious and dangerous bodily harm, the defense not more than seven years.
