The whole thing is designed by the architect Paul McClean, known for having notably built the house of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, in the chic Bel Air district as well.
Its owner is Nile Niami, a former film producer who has turned into a real estate developer.
His bet?
Building the most expensive house in the world.
It was estimated at $ 500 million, or 442 million euros.

A bowling alley, but no kitchen
After eight years of work, four of which was late, and 600 people mobilized, all did not go as planned.
Financing and construction problems slowed down the project considerably.
For the moment, the house is unfinished and in the hands of justice.
Its owner would not have honored its debts, amounting to 100 million euros.
In addition, the house is not habitable.
It does not have a kitchen and is not connected to gas.
Next January, it could be auctioned for a starting price of $ 250 million ... or half of its value.
