The respite of bad weather did not last long
.
From 8 December, the day of the Immaculate Conception, a strong disturbance will hit the North and Tuscany.
These are the forecasts of Stefano Ghetti, meteorologist of the site www.iLMeteo.it.
Given the pre-existing low temperatures in Piedmont and Lombardy, precipitation will be snowy up to flat altitudes.
Snow spread throughout the Alps and pre-Alps (altitude at 400m on the Triveneto) and possible snow also in Liguria up to Genoa (for dark Tramontana).
Also expected 10-15cm of snow in Milan, 5-10cm in Turin and Asti, up to 15cm also in Alessandria, Pavia, Bergamo and Piacenza.
The disturbance on the rest of Italy, on the other hand, will extend to Sardinia and Lazio with rains and thunderstorms and then also to the rest of the North with rains on the plains of central-eastern Emilia, Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. The long weekend of the Immaculate Conception in Sardinia will be marked by bad weather that will accompany the island until next Sunday. The winds will also blow very strong on the Adriatic Sea where the Scirocco will also cause storm surges.
High water possible in Venice.
In the following days the bad weather will move towards the rest of the Center-South while the gradual arrival of high pressure will improve the weather in the North.
Temperatures are decreasing in all regions, especially in the Northwest where, due to the clear night sky and the snow deposited on the ground, they will collapse until they drop below freezing by several degrees at night.
Ice even during the day in Lombardy and Milan
