A man from Zwickau is said to have distributed Christmas decorations with Nazi symbols on a large scale.
During an eight-hour search of a house and a workshop in the Saxon city, more than 100 items were found on Monday, the police said on Tuesday.
These include candle arches, incense figures, cups, busts and Christmas tree decorations.
The Nazi devotional items were made professionally.
The 39-year-old is being investigated for the dissemination and use of propaganda by unconstitutional organizations.
In addition, the man is accused of violating the weapons law as well as receiving stolen goods and a deed of documents.
Also found vaccination records
According to the police, two blank vaccination cards, an allegedly falsified vaccination certificate as well as a one-hand knife, brass knuckles and a cartridge were also seized in his rooms.
"As a result of investigations by the State Security Police, a supraregional dealer with right-wing Nazi propaganda was able to stop," said Zwickau's police chief Lutz Rodig.
"We are convinced that we have dealt a severe blow to the sales structures of the right-wing scene."
