(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 08 - A perturbation of Atlantic origin is causing a phase of widespread bad weather in the northern and central regions, with snowfalls also in the plains in the North. In the next few hours, rains and thunderstorms will extend to the South, especially on the Tyrrhenian side, with strong winds. This is indicated by a weather alert from the Civil Protection.
The notice provides for thunderstorms on Campania, Molise and Abruzzo from today afternoon-evening, in extension, from the early hours of tomorrow in Basilicata and Calabria. The phenomena will be accompanied by showers of strong intensity, local hailstorms, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind. Strong to stormy winds are also expected on Sicily, Calabria and Puglia.
