Hollywood stars Scarlett Johansson and Dwayne Johnson were named female and male film star of the year 2021 at the People's Choice Awards in Santa Monica, California.
In the live show on Wednesday night they prevailed against colleagues like Daniel Craig, Eddie Murphy, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Hudson and Margot Robbie.
Johnson received several awards: As a leading actor in the action comedy "Jungle Cruise", he also won the trophy for best comedy star.
In addition, the former wrestler received the "People's Champion" honor award for his humanitarian services.
When you're famous, the most important thing is to be kind, Johnson said on stage.

In the TV division, Tom Hiddleston ("Loki") and Ellen Pompeo ("Grey's Anatomy") asserted themselves as the best TV stars.
Rapper Lil Nas X won the trophy for male artist of the year, and British pop icon Adele was named best artist.
The South Korean boy band BTS won several awards, including the one for best group.
Olivia Rodrigo was honored as a young artist and for the best album (»Sour«).
Oscar winner Halle Berry (55, "Monster's Ball") also received the honorary award as "Icon" of the year.
In a glitter overall, Berry thanked her loyal fans and her two children, who had to do without more time with her because of Berry's work.
Kim Kardashian, wearing dark sunglasses and dressed all in black, accepted the trophy of honor as a "fashion icon".
The 41-year-old entrepreneur thanked her husband, Kanye West, for introducing her to the fashion world.
The contenders and winners of the People's Choice Awards in dozen of film, television and music categories, which have been presented since 1975, are chosen exclusively by fans.
