In the case of the five dead members of a family from Brandenburg, there are new findings: The mother's employer wanted to investigate the woman's allegedly falsified vaccination certificate.

Questions arose from the submitted document, to which the woman was asked in writing to comment, as the Brandenburg Ministry of Science announced on request.

The woman from Königs Wusterhausen, who, like her three children, is said to have been killed by the father of the family, was therefore an employee of the technical university in neighboring Wildau.

A misconduct on the part of the employer in this case is not yet known: "According to the MWFK, the TH Wildau did everything right," the ministry said.

The man reportedly feared arrest

»According to the current Federal Infection Protection Act, a 3G regulation has been in effect at the workplace since November 24, 2021.

Employers must ensure compliance with this regulation.

This is what the TH Wildau did in this case, ”said the ministry.

According to a suicide note from the suspect family father, the man had had his wife's certificate forged.

In the letter he also stated that he was afraid of being arrested and that his children would be taken away from him.

The five dead were discovered on Saturday in a single-family house in Königs Wusterhausen.

According to previous investigations, the father is said to have first killed the three children aged four, eight and ten years as well as his wife and then himself with a gun.

At first it was said that the victims had gunshot and stab wounds.

The public prosecutor's office revised this later.

The investigators also found a firearm in the house.

It was not yet known whether this was the weapon that was used to shoot.

According to the prosecutor, the 40-year-old was not in possession of a gun license.

Accordingly, he could only get the gun illegally.

It is now clear that the act was a few days ago: According to the investigators, the bodies had probably been in the house since Friday night.

That was the result of the autopsy, as a spokesman for the prosecutor said.
