"It's reassuring", "we are quiet", "we are zen" ... This Thursday evening, all the young women who are partying at the Cavern (Paris, 6th arrondissement) are unanimous: they feel safe and let go socket.
Tonight is “La Bringue”: evenings reserved exclusively for women.
"All the participants are girls, the photographer is a girl, the DJette is a girl, the videographer is a girl, the waitresses are girls", explains Clarisse Luiz, the organizer.
The basement of the Cavern has been privatized for the evening and Elo, the manager, is behind the bar.
Her brother, with whom she runs the establishment, will stay on the ground floor, to serve other customers.
In this vaulted basement in the 6th arrondissement, we can hear the songs of Aya Nakamura, Diam's and Lady Gaga.
About a hundred young women, between the ages of 20 and 30 for the most part, sway and twerk.

"You can dance more freely, because unfortunately, when you're in a club with guys, the way you're going to dance can be interpreted in a certain way", deplores Clarisse.
"It's not the same, we do not feel observed, judged," abounds Julie.
Several of them also say they have more peace of mind, and can leave their drink unattended.
As testimonials from unwittingly addicted GHB addicts flood in, young women appreciate being able to party without fearing for their safety.
"It's everyone who will pay attention to everyone, we are in a safe place,"
says Lucie, 21 years old.
A mission that the manager of the bar takes very seriously: "we guarantee them that they are safe, that it will be okay, that, overall, it will be cool".
And she notices a very different atmosphere during single-sex evenings: “we see that there is a complete letting go, it's great!
