In Bielefeld, a man was shot in the Brackwede district, as reported by the WDR.
Around 9.45 p.m. on Wednesday evening, the perpetrator (s) is said to have shot the 30-year-old seven times in a parking lot in the center of the district.
Passers-by looked after the man, but the man died a short time later in the hospital.
According to WDR, the person shot had been able to drag himself to a bench, where he then collapsed.
A bus driver who saw him there spoke to the man repeatedly until an ambulance arrived - and tried to keep him conscious.
A homicide squad was set up that night and is now investigating.
