The third season of the comedy program "LOL: Last One Laughing" will be broadcast as planned next spring, and the scenes with the recently deceased comedian Mirco Nontschew will also be shown.
This was confirmed by a spokeswoman for Amazon Prime Video when asked by SPIEGEL.
The "Bild" newspaper had previously reported on it.
Nontschew was already on the first season of the show and had initiated a comeback after he had not appeared in front of TV cameras for a long time.
The 52-year-old died completely unexpectedly in early December.
The cause of death is still unknown, an autopsy should bring clarity.
In an obituary notice published in the »Süddeutsche Zeitung«, all »LOL« colleagues said goodbye to Mirco Nontschew.
She is with the words “Thank you, dear Mirco!
You were a great gift «.
Below are the names of Michael Bully Herbig, Anke Engelke and Wigald Boning, among others.
With Boning, Nontschew began his TV career in the 1990s as part of the comedy show "RTL Saturday Night".
He later played in films such as "7 dwarfs - men alone in the forest" and appeared with Mario Barth.
