56% of Italians would like to improve their culinary skills on the occasion of the Christmas holidays to amaze their guests.
45%, due to performance anxiety in the kitchen, admit to feeling stressed by the idea of planning the holiday menu.
This is what emerges with a survey by HelloFresh (a home recipe kit service launched in Italy since mid-October) conducted by the Censuswide research institute on how Italians live the preparations for Christmas and New Year.
The research shows that among the most demanding factors that stress Italians are the "endless expenses in too crowded shops" to get all the necessary ingredients (64%), "the very long preparation times of the various courses" (58%) , the concern of being able to create different menus than usual that can surprise guests and, at the same time, make them all agree (53%), leftovers that become food waste (34%).
Finally, the first expectation is that of the desire for conviviality at the table, but without stress.
