Even if you did not watch the "The Matrix" series, you have probably heard of them - whether it was when someone patrolled you that you missed the movie of your life, or from a social media coach shouting at you that life is actually the Matrix, and reality is what we make of it.

Anyway, the trailer for the new movie wakes up all the fans and makes them walk the streets and tell everyone how excited they are about the premiere that will take place in a few weeks, but what's really interesting is not necessarily the movie but the main star -

, That after 35 years of career and 81 films, all most of us know about him, except that he looks good, is that he's a successful action movie star with a weird name.

But the truth is much more interesting.

Shreeves is known as one of the nicest, most polite and considerate actors in Hollywood, with countless charming stories that reveal a caring and kind personality that does not match his superstar status.

Beyond that, Reeves has a particularly shaky, tragic and dramatic life story - and while he does not actively hide it from the media, he generally prefers not to be interviewed about his personal life.

When Keanu was a three-year-old toddler, he was abandoned by his father, Samuel Reeves, in the city of Beirut where he was born.

Keanu and his sister were raised by his mother Patricia, who set out in search of a new life and a new husband, which led the family to move between Hawaii, New York, Australia and Canada, and Keanu to replace four different schools all of which he had difficulty with dyslexia.

Finally, he retired from school without a high school diploma at the age of 17. In all these years the relationship with Reeves' father was not good to say the least, and at one point the father was arrested for possession of cocaine and heroin and sentenced to ten years in prison.

When Keanu was asked about the relationship between them he mostly said that "the story between me and my dad is pretty heavy, it's full of pain and fucking loss and all this sailing."

At age 23, Keanu was already a well-known and esteemed actor in Hollywood, and a brother of

The two have starred together in two films and spent time together all the time, and after a few years of the Phoenix companies got rid of an overdose outside the Viper Ross nightclub - a tragedy that has hit the entire world, and we are particularly cynical.

In an interview he gave, Keanu said of River's loss that he was "definitely one of his best friends from that era. River was with his feet on the ground, spiritual and a special artist and I miss him."

In the late 90s Keanu met actress

. The two fell in love and Jennifer became pregnant with their home. The loss hit the couple the day before Christmas: after a day during which Jennifer did not feel the baby move, the two arrived at the hospital and ended a quiet birth. They were unable to recover from the blow, and a friend of Keanu said Reeves was very much looking forward to fatherhood, and the transition from anticipation and excitement into mourning for the loss broke him.

The two did not survive the crisis and parted ways a few weeks later, in January 2000. Although Keanu tried to recover, and even for a moment felt he was succeeding, in April of that year he suffered another loss - Jennifer, whom he had only seen the day before (although the two were separated) Killed in a car accident. Alongside the never-ending tragedies, all the while Keanu was by her side with his younger sister

, who has been battling leukemia since 1991. Kim and Keanu have always been close and he spent quite a bit with her, even when he was filming and could not get Doug to stay in daily contact.

To Kiano's delight Kim's cancer has gone into remission, and she is now healthy and living in Italy.

The difficulty and tragedies did not make Keanu resentful or angry but quite the opposite.

As evidenced not only by the players next to him but also by the fans, he is one of the nicest and most considerate people in the industry.

For example, he is often caught turning his place on the New York subway for women and older passengers, stopping everything to be photographed with fans and generally doing above and beyond everyone around him.

One day he found himself waiting 20 minutes in the rain, in line for a party held in his honor - only because he did not want to cause a commotion for not being recognized at the entrance.

At that party, by the way, he found a credit card on the floor and made efforts to find the cardholders.

Beyond the cute stories and the fact that he once bought ice cream just to have a receipt he could sign for a fan, a few years ago fans noticed another and unusual behavior - when Keanu was photographed next to other people, whether fans on the street or Hollywood stars on the red carpet.

His hand is always hovering a few millimeters from the back of the person with whom he is supposedly hugging, close enough to look friendly, and yet not touching.

The internet erupted with the discovery, but for everyone it was quite clear that this was another way in which Keanu respects the environment, and if that does not make you want to see the trailer again - we do not know what does.
