After a 31-year-old was fatally shot on the street in Bielefeld, a suspect was taken into custody.
The 28-year-old presented himself to the police on Friday after a public manhunt, said the officers in Bielefeld.
A judge later issued an arrest warrant for manslaughter.
The man did not provide any information about the motive or the course of the crime, the officials said.
The 31-year-old victim was seriously injured and died late Wednesday evening in the area of a bus stop in the center of the Brackwede district.
The autopsy has since confirmed that he died from the gunshot wounds.
