How many times have you traveled to the north and looked for a deli where you can collect some delicacies for the trip?
A place where you can pack a rich picnic basket without thinking about having to coordinate and book well in advance?
A corner to drink quality coffee and choose a pastry flipped from a display case of fresh breakfast pastries next to it?
The north of the country has been flourishing for some time, with quite a few options of great bakeries, from Materlo in Ein Zivan, Oz patisserie in Goshrim, through the new location of Tusha Bakery in Achziv, the successful Coron patisserie in Kibbutz Evron, Nadav desserts in Ramat Yishai, new bread in Kibbutz Beit HaEmek, And of course in Haifa's Rada.
And yet the north is great, and the Carmiel area remains somehow out of this celebration.
Until now that is.
Blush is a new and exciting bakery that opened last week in Carmiel and contains everything that lovers of northern pastries, or those who travel north for a trip, fantasize about.

Blush is the work of two women from Karmiel - Shani Vaknin, who owns Delicious Fingerfood - a successful business for hospitality trays in the north and Ines Yanai.
Yanai besides being our house cook here at Walla!
Food, is also a culinary consultant, owner of the veteran food blog Food Bag, and has many collaborations with commercial companies in the field of food and recipes.
When Shuknin told Linai about her desire to expand the business, Yanai offered her to open a place to the general public, which would not be based solely on orders.
And when two industrious women go into action, there is no one to stop them.

Blash, a bakery, a deli and a particularly rosy pink cafe, located in the Gan Ha'ir complex in Carmiel next to a cinema and gym, caters to a variety of audiences and changing needs.
You will find a sandwich showcase made from a variety of breads that are also gluten-free. Showcase dessert showcases, refrigerators containing assembled hospitality trays, pickled salmon in beets, homemade vine leaves and a selection of fresh salads with toppings. On the main island of Blash, a selection of fluffy pastries is served every morning in two versions - sweet and savory. The surrounding shelves contain everything that is fun to put in the pink baskets on the spot and take home or for a picnic - spreads, sauces, spicy nuts for salads, homemade granola, a selection of wines, cheeses, local olive oil, boutique beers from the area, picnic baskets and even picnic tablecloths.
The two also thought about the trainees at the nearby gym and they offer them protein-rich salads, chia pudding with tropical fruits and a selection of yogurts with granola that are prepared on the spot.
On Fridays, stuffed challahs, kabobs and a selection of spreads for the perfect brunch for the weekend will also be sold here.
