Elephant attacks a vehicle full of humans (EcoTraining)

A frightening documentary coming from South Africa shows an elephant weighing 6 tons and a height of about 4 meters chasing a jeep of tour guides in apprenticeship who were on a safari tour - and they are fleeing for their lives.

The giant elephant, full of testosterone due to the breeding season, started raging as the vehicles approached its breeding area.

The guide sitting in the viewing seat above the hood had to jump and flee for his life as the elephant's elbows that drove the body of the jeep like a knife through butter.

He then picks up the 11-seat vehicle from the ground and pushes it off the road.

Throughout the event, which lasted 30 seconds, the screams of two students who were inside the vehicle were heard.

Fortunately, just as the jeep was about to capsize, the elephant stopped its attack and defiantly confronted them.

The elephant attacked

At this point a guide from the other vehicle arrived and shouted at the three girls who were frozen in the vehicle and ordered them to get out of it.

He helped them reach the other vehicle, separating it from the elephant with the help of the wrecked vehicle

Humans are fleeing

Photographs of the vehicle after the attack show how the elephant's tusks penetrated through the metal body easily, wrinkled the side of the vehicle and left the front passenger seat crooked and broken.

The crew was forced to abandon the vehicle and returned only later after the herd of elephants had receded.

The terrified campers were taken back to the safari hostel where they received psychiatric treatment due to the shock in which they were found, but according to local media reports they were not harmed.

It is estimated that the elephant that attacked was the dominant male of the herd at the height of the breeding season, and he got upset when the vehicles got too close to his females.

When elephants are ready to reproduce they go into a state of sexual aggression called a must where the testosterone levels in their body can double itself up to sixty times.

It also causes them to become territorial, aggressive and they can carry out extreme acts of violence - both to opponents and to anyone who gets in their way.

In the past, captive elephants that entered Most often killed their guards in violent outbursts, while wild elephants that roamed the villages in their loaded condition crushed to death about 500 people a year.
