Cooking and lifestyle expert Laura McLaughlin Peterson published a short guide to ticketing (on @lorafied) for making homemade mashed potatoes - and revealed to us that there is no need to peel the potatoes first.
By its quick and convenient method, the peel can be removed and the potatoes crushed at the same time.
In the network of enthusiasm for the method, it was so obvious that Laura decided to patent it.
So that you too can enjoy all this goodness, you must first cook the potatoes in a pot with water - while they are still with the peel (after rinsing them well with soap and water).
After cooking, Laura explains in the video: "Take a bowl and place a cooling grid on top. Cut your potato in half, place it on the grid and mash. The grid allows you to mash the potatoes while leaving the peel behind."

As we mentioned, the network was enthusiastic about the method, with some swearing it changed their lives.
"It's so simple I'm a little mad at myself for not thinking about it on my own," one reporter and another added: "It changes the rules of the game. Totally."
Another suggested not throwing away the leftovers but putting the remaining boiled potato peels in the air fryer (oil-free frying pan) and sprinkling salt and pepper on them for a delicious snack.
