To this question asked on Sunday during a local referendum, the Yévrois answered unambiguously: 90.36% no.

“I don't consider this result a victory.

We just wanted to know what the inhabitants thought of the two wind turbine projects underway in our town.

We have the answer: they don't want it, ”comments Bruno Perry, mayor (without label) of this town of 1,650 inhabitants north of Châteaudun (Eure-et-Loir).

The prefecture of Eure-et-Loir, which leads the general states of the ecological transition, does not wish to comment on this vote which is only advisory.

The projects are not abandoned, the procedure is ongoing, the prefecture reacts in substance.

Solar projects
