(ANSA) - MILAN, DEC 14 - The ECB will not increase interest rates "before the beginning of 2024" and will reduce the purchases of securities at the end of 2023. This is what S&P chief economist for the EMEA area predicts Sylvain Broyer, according to which "the rate of inflation will fall already in the course of 2022".
According to Broyer's estimates, the EU "will reach pre-pandemic levels in the 4th / 3rd of this year, while Italy will have to wait until the second quarter of 2022".
