(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 14 - "I had the ambition to make a series that had the same system and the same narrative language as the cinematographic one: I did not want to soften the pains, the edges, the unpleasantness of being, I aimed to bring cinema on television. An empathic operation is created with the characters, we travel with them, it is a game of mirrors. Gabriele Muccini said this in presenting A casa tutti bene, the series he directed, written with Barbara Petronio, Andrea Nobile, Gabriele Galli and Camilla Buizza, and based on the film of the same name.
"The family, with all its bitterness and contradictions, is the real protagonist of A casa tutti bene", added the director. At the center of the story, two families: the Ristuccia family, owners for 40 years of one of the most renowned clubs in the capital, and the Mariani, who claim a place within the business threatening to re-emerge a terrible secret from the Ristuccia's past. The story will revolve around the conflict, but also around a crescendo of emotions that will question bonds that until then seemed very solid.
With a very rich cast ranging from Laura Morante and FrancescoAcquaroli in the roles of Alba and Pietro Ristuccia, to FrancescoScianna, Silvia D'Amico and Simone Liberati in that of their children Carlo, Sara and Paolo;
from Euridice Axen to Francesco Martino, from Laura Adriani to Antonio Folletto, up to Emma Marrone, MilenaMancini and Valerio Aprea.
Gabriele Muccino takes up the narrative layout of his 2018 film, expanding it, layering it and dissecting it to make it an 8-episode long story.
Antonella D'Errico (Sky) underlined: "It is the first time of a family drama for Sky, a genre typical of American series. We immediately started writing the second season".
