2G affects restaurants, leisure activities and certain retailers.
Now some banks also require proof of vaccination.
This applies to the Volksbank / Raiffeisenbank.
Munich - The 2G rule now applies in many areas.
For example, if you want to go to the hairdresser or to eat or for leisure activities.
Even shopping in certain shops is only possible for vaccinated and convalescent people.
This rule was also recently introduced in the first banks in Germany.
For example at the Berliner Sparkasse.
The corona regulations have been tightened there.
Customers now need a 2G certificate for consultations.
Does that also apply to the Volksbanks and Raiffeisenbanks?

"If you would like a personal consultation, we expect that you meet the 2G rule (vaccinated or recovered)," says the Berliner Volksbanken.
The branches in the capital of Germany are thus going a separate way and making use of their domiciliary rights.
This regulation does not yet apply to the other Volksbanks in the Federal Republic of Germany.
As Volksbank press spokesman Steffen Steudel announced when asked, the 2G regulation in Berlin only applies to personal consultations.
Steudel emphasized that entry into the bank is still possible for those who have not been vaccinated.
2G, 3G?
These rules apply at Postbank, Sparkasse and Co.
These corona rules currently apply at the Sparkasse.
These measures to contain the pandemic were taken at Postbank.
Deutsche Bank has the following rules for customers.
The 2G rule does not apply in these areas of everyday life
Since banks are part of everyday needs and are part of the general interest, they are exempt from the 2G rule.
This also applies to post offices, petrol stations, drugstores, kiosks, health food stores, bakeries, butchers, tailors, laundrettes and dry cleaners, flower shops as well as opticians, hearing aid branches, pharmacies and medical supply stores.
Although these daily needs do not have to request proof, they can still apply the 2G rule via the house rules.
