(by Francesco Gallo) (ANSA) - ROME, DEC 19 - A bitter comedy, noir and with a political soul of yesteryear, the one that tells IL CAPO PERFETTO (El buen patrón) by Fernando León De Aranoa, an Oscar nominated film for Spain and, from 23 December, in the hall with BIM.

In short, a strange mixture of comedy, morals, Coen-like irony and drama starring that stone face of JavierBardem, highly credible in the role of Blanco, owner of a historic Spanish company of industrial scales that indirectly suggest justice.

But is Blanco a right man? Apparently yes, he leads his industry with that paternalism that makes him a magnanimous boss willing to do anything to solve his employees' problems. All the more so if they don't reduce productivity now that its industry is in the running for an important recognition that Blanco obviously cares a lot about.

But, despite his smiles and good-natured attitude, one of his workers recently fired by him spoils the party because he camps (literally) in front of the gate of his company to remind him, with a powerful megaphone, at every entrance and exit, that he is not. other than a dirty capitalist, an exploiter who should be eliminated.

Once the smile is gone, Blanco will try to solve the problem first with tricks and then in an unorthodox way by complicating everything.

But it is not that the world around him is very different, he will discover that many are playing dirty because to survive the dance is always the same and each one practices it to the extent of his wickedness.

"After all, this film does not tell a very distant reality - says Bardem, who in these days also arrives on screens with Being The Ricardos, the feature film with Nicole Kidman that tells the relationship between Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz - we all have a certain power, especially about some people, now the problem is to understand how willing we are to take advantage of it if the opportunity arises ".
