To hell with the gloomy winter, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia have chosen for 2022 to illustrate their annual greeting card with a photograph showing them alongside their two daughters, Leonor and Sofia, 16 and 14 years old, in a spring atmosphere.
If last year, the two princesses took center stage, this Christmas, the whole tribe gathered in the gardens of the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.
“Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2022. With all our affection and best wishes,” read a message on the back of the card, signed by all members of the family.

In the photo, unveiled on social networks Thursday, December 16, a very elegant Queen of Spain - as usual - in a heather gray coat.
Beside her, her husband in a blazer, burgundy sweater and pink shirt, appears in all relaxation.
As for their daughters, in the center of the photo, Sofia opted for a patterned sky blue sweater and Leonor is wearing a white top and brown pants.

Looking a little closer at the shot, we can see Sofia holding her big sister's hand.
The youngest is undoubtedly happy to find Leonor at home since the latter is educated the rest of the year in Wales, within the United World College of the Atlantic, the "Hogwarts" of VIP children and other crowned heads.
