(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 20 - "The first doses" of the Novavax vaccine "should arrive in the first months of 2022 and for this first quarter the Member States have ordered about 27 million doses".
The European Commission reports.
"With conditional marketing authorization, Novavax will be able to deliver up to 100 million Covid-19 vaccines in the EU starting from the first quarter of 2022", the statement read.
The contract signed on 4 August 2021 then allows Member States to purchase "an additional 100 million doses over the course of 2022 and 2023".
