Eleven years in prison - this is the sentence in the trial against a British man who killed a three-year-old girl.
The trigger for the act was therefore the man's anger that the child hadn't finished his plate.
The court in Maidstone, England found him guilty on Monday.
According to the police in Kent, the now 27-year-old stated after the incident on December 21, 2019 that his partner's disabled daughter fell down the stairs.
In the course of the investigation, however, it turned out that the "catastrophic" head injuries were caused by the child's head being thrown against a bed.
The girl died on Christmas Eve in a London hospital.
According to police, the three-year-old had older injuries, which also resulted from violent assaults by the man.
Witnesses reported that the perpetrator was becoming increasingly frustrated with the task of looking after the girl.
He inflicted the fatal injuries on her after she did not eat her lunch.
