The fifth wave in Israel: the rate of positives doubled in eight days, almost 1,000 verified in less than a day Israel today

The Ministry of Health this evening (Monday) published data according to which 939 new verified patients were diagnosed this morning out of 78,679 tests performed, which is a 1.47 percent positive rate, which actually doubled within eight days.

These are relatively high numbers for the evening hours, and the daily verified average stands at 1,013 compared to 697 last week. 

The number of patients in critical condition stands at 83, of whom 42 are respirators.

The coefficient of infection is 1.22.
