The manufacturer of Zewa and Tempo warns of a drastic price increase.
The reason is rising raw material and energy prices.
"What has happened in our industry in the last few weeks is no longer normal," says Volker Zöller, CEO of Essity, a large manufacturer of hygiene paper.

Then there are the current logistics problems.
“The logistics prices have quadrupled in some cases.
That made the situation even worse, ”he continued.
Discussions with retailers now follow: “We have open contracts with most customers, so we can react more quickly.
But long-term contracts also urgently need to be adapted, ”emphasized Zöller.
He assumes that the price increases will also make themselves felt on the shelves of discounters * and drugstores *.
