(ANSA) - MILAN, DECEMBER 21 - Bper Banca opens negotiations with the Fitd after the interbank deposit fund rejected the non-binding offer presented by the bancamodenese for Carige.
Downstream of the board of directors which took note of the Fund's rejection, Bper reiterated to Fitd "its willingness to provide the requested clarifications and to carry out the in-depth investigations deemed necessary, as well as to jointly verify the hypotheses underlying the offer" for Carige, "the all in the context of an adequate exclusivity regime ", reads a note from the bank.
Bper once again underlined "how the offer would have allowed the problems of Carige to be resolved definitively, to protect customers,of its minority shareholders as well as of all the other stakeholders ". (ANSA).
