(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 21 DEC - Russian President VladimirPutin has said that Russia is ready to adopt military-technical measures in the event of NATO approaching the country's borders.

"In case of continuation of a clearly aggressive line on the part of Western colleagues, we will take appropriate technical-military measures and react harshly to hostile steps," Putin said at an enlarged meeting of the Russian defense ministry's college.
Putin also said that "the tension that is unfolding in Europe" is the fault of the West, the Tax always reports.
"What is happening now, the tension that is occurring in Europe is their fault", declared the president. (ANSA).
