The fear of the corona spreading is affecting many countries around the world and today (Tuesday) Thailand decided to stop the entry of tourists into its territory without the need for isolation.
This program has been in operation for a little less than two months, and is now discontinued in light of the fear of the distribution of the omicron by tourists coming to the country.
The Corona Panel, led by the Prime Minister, has suspended the policy until at least January 4, amid an increase in imported cases of the Omicron strain.
According to the government announcement, the entry of tourists without the need for isolation will be re-examined in two weeks.
About two months ago, Thailand waived the requirement to isolate more than 60 of its jurisdictions, with the condition that all tourists be vaccinated and undergo negative tests for the virus before and immediately upon landing.
Now it's changing policy again.

Now, about 200,000 visitors who were previously approved to enter without the need for isolation, of which 110,000 are already in Thailand, now perform two PCR tests during their stay in Thailand - upon landing and on the seventh day in the country.
"We are prepared for the situation and will respond as soon as possible so that there will be no need to worry about closing businesses," Health Minister Anotin said.
"We must make Thailand safe."
