Also, the number of active carriers stands at 8,307 with 82 of them in critical condition, including 4 respirators.

Since the outbreak of the plague, the death toll stands at 8,232 people.

In the last week 1323 new carriers were diagnosed which is 1.28% out of 127540 new tests.

At the same time, the number of vaccinated in the first dose is 6,466,403.

In the second dose - 5,844,448.

In the third dose - 4,167,625.

At the opening of the cabinet meeting today, Bennett referred to the jump in morbidity and said: "We are likely to see a similar trend of doubling every two to three days in the near future, maybe less. The public should be aware that a dramatic increase in morbidity is expected. "But we can certainly give the tools to the citizens of Israel to protect themselves, mainly from serious illness, when some of them become infected."

As for vaccines he said: "There are a million children who have not even received a first shot. At the moment they are exposed and our goal is to motivate them in large numbers in the coming days to get out and get vaccinated. There is also the adult audience "So we can protect them."
