Bundeswehr officer Franco A. is said to have planned attacks in Germany disguised as an asylum seeker, so he has had to answer to court since last May.
In the process, A. has now caused a scandal with conspiracy theories.
"This is anti-Semitic nonsense that you are talking about," accused the presiding judge, Christoph Koller, of Franco A., and cut him off.
Koller had previously announced that he would withhold the accused from speaking if he was of the opinion that what he said was incitement to the masses.
Then it is important to stop a criminal offense.
"We don't listen to anything anti-Semitic," said the judge.
A. only makes it worse by his explanation, as he argues that he has thought carefully about his theories.
Hearing of a witness has been canceled
A. wanted to make a statement about a sound document.
In it, he spoke of the "Western propaganda" about Russian President Vladimir Putin and allegedly false media reports.
The initially planned hearing of a witness who was supposed to arrive from Austria had to be canceled due to the effects of the corona pandemic.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office accuses Franco A. of preparing a serious criminal offense that is dangerous to the state.
He is said to have planned attacks on politicians.
The officer assumed a false identity as a Syrian refugee.
The prosecutors assume that he wanted to use it to direct suspicion of refugees after an attack and to shake confidence in the asylum policy.
The Federal Prosecutor's Office sees a völkisch-nationalist attitude as a motive.
Franco A. largely denies the allegations, but admits that he was in possession of several weapons, which he kept at his place of work, among other things.
So far he has not wanted to give any information about the whereabouts of the weapons.
